Increased Fees for Before/After School Care and Summer Programs

2024 Notification of New Rates Flyers (English, Haitian-Creole, & Spanish) ELC Child Care Assistance Flyer (English, Haitian-Creole, & Spanish) Fees must be paid in advance online via the FOCUS app.  BEFORE- SCHOOL CARE – 7:00a.m. – 8:00a.m $6.00 per day to be paid on a monthly basis only. STORY HOUR – 1:50p.m – 3:05p.m and 3:05p.m to 4:15p.m $6.00 per day to be paid on a monthly basis only. AFTER-SCHOOL CARE – 1:50p.m- 6:00p.m and 3:05p.m.- 6:00p.m. $12.00 per day to be paid on a monthly basis only. WEDNESDAY ONLY – 1:50- 3:05 $6.00 per day to be paid on a monthly basis only.

M-DCPS Summer Parent Academy

On July 16, 17, and 18, the M-DCPS Parent Academy will offer virtual workshops on vital topics through their Summer Parent Academy. Topics include: Parent Portal, Schoology, Autism, Safety, and others. ·        Parents and caregivers can register for these free virtual sessions through the website: https://parentacademymiami.com/summer ·        The July 16th sessions will be delivered in English; July 17th in Haitian-Creole; and July 18th in Spanish.

2023-2024 School Climate Surveys

The School Climate Surveys are an integral part of the district’s efforts to promote school improvement and educational accountability. School Climate Surveys of parents, students, and staff have been annually administered in the Miami-Dade County Public School district since the early 1990s. The purpose of these surveys is to gather information regarding what these groups think about the school and their perceptions concerning how the school can be improved. 2023 Winter Break At-Home Activities

The Division of Academics, through the Office of Academics and Transformation, has prepared an array of engaging Winter Break Activities. These activities, available on the Division of Academics website, offer fun and educational experiences for students. From online Reading and Math Challenges, Social Studies Trivia, and Science explorations, these activities are designed to engage and enhance student learning across various grade levels and interests. We encourage you to explore these activities with your children. While not mandatory, they’re a great way for our students to continue learning in an enjoyable manner during the break.
